It is my pleasure to welcome you to the first The Truth About TB newsletter.  The Truth About TB is a national programme of action coordinated by TB Alert, the UK’s national tuberculosis charity, and I believe it can play an important role in reversing over 20 years of rising TB in England. Whether you are reading this as an NHS or local government stakeholder, a voluntary sector organisation that works with at-risk communities, or someone who cares about protecting your community and family from TB, you have an important part to play in helping ensure that people at risk of TB have access to early detection, diagnosis and treatment.
