Launch of free TB awareness training for third sector organisations

TB Alert is delighted to invite announce the launch of a free programme of TB awareness training for third sector organisations.

This training will provide interactive sessions on TB the illness, how it affects local communities in each region, and guidance on developing and evaluating TB awareness programmes – which will include guidance on using the free TB awareness resource pack that comes with the training.

The courses run for two days, in locations around the country, on the following dates:

17-18 October Birmingham
07-08 November Leeds
14-15 November London (NE)
21-22 November London (NW)
28-29 November Manchester
05-06 December Bristol

The courses are open to programme staff who work with communities known to be at risk of TB: BME communities, homeless people, substance mis-users, people with immune systems that are weakened through long term illness and people in poor quality housing. We can accept two delegates per organisation for the training. Please complete and return the booking form to reserve your place(s).
